Head Radical Team (2023)

The Radical Team, the most forgiving of the Radical series of racquets, has been updated with state-of-the-art Auxetic technology to improve impact feel and playability for players looking for easier power and playability - perfect for an ambitious all-court club player, rising intermediate or adept beginner. Players of the previous generation's Radical S (2021) will find the same general specs in this racquet.

The headsize at 102 square inches, being slightly larger than average, enhances the overall comfort with a larger sweet spot plus an increase in the "trampoline effect" that results in additional power potential. Coupled with the headsize, the open string pattern has a lively feel with easier access to spin. The racquet's weight at 9.9 ounces (unstrung) is slightly on the lighter side of average which will provide players with a blend of stability and manoeuvrability while enhancing swing speed to generate power and spin as well as enabling easier manoeuvrability for improved volleys and net play. It's head-light balance enhances the maneuverability for easier access to spin, volleys and fast serves.

On the technology side, HEAD brings Auxetic technology to the Radical line. Head's Auxetic is an adaptive technology that optimizes ball feedback depending on where the ball is hit on the stringbed. The Graphene technology is being used to strengthen the frame for enhanced stability and power.
